I had these on my E53 and now after 30+ months of wanting and weeks of searching and after first buying fakes on Amazon i finally got them.
Zoom in to compare!
The outer edge curves into a tighter cylindrical radius to become a combined blind spot mirror. With these there is no blind spot!
As a car passes you on the left you see his hood come past your door before disappearing from the mirror.
Do not be fooled by fakes on eBay or Amazon. Nobody sells the aspheric mirrors in the western hemisphere.
The fakes on Amazon and eBay are simple convex mirrors with Aspherical plastic stamped on the back and a pointless line near the edge where blinds blinds spot happens.
I found a pair in Latvia for under $200 (they are ≈ $500@ from the dealer). Cost over $120 s&h with $44 of that on import duty.
Worth every penny and I'll be ordering some for wife's 535 asap.
