Wow I got the remote for the X5 working again. I thought the battery died or something in the car failed, but I took it to one of those battery stores with a signal tester and it was fine.

All I had to do was re-sync it. I’d tried doing that a few times before but it never worked. And I have no idea why a year ago it just stopped working.
