I also have the Non Navi DSP system, I think AUX is a better choice because its integrated in the system, I prefer an original experience. Not to mention AUX should sound better in theory because its wired

I appreciate the offer a lot but I think you're better off giving it to a bigger E53 enthusiast I'm fine with whatever I receive from Amazon, the friendliness of the X5 community is one of the reasons why I love my E53, Thank You.
