The manual plate has the hole. And that hole has an o-ring groove, which is weird. It's almost like they cadded everything up for an automatic, then just changed the necessary parts for a manual, but left anything automatic in place that doesn't matter. Otherwise, why would you have an opening for a port that you aren't going to use, then put an o-ring groove in it that you DEFINITELY aren't going to use...? Germans...
