Up and down on the column stopped working. Can you supply 12 to the motor directly and see what happens? You just need to remove plastic covers to get access to the motors. You don't need to do what you seem to be doing |
So the motor works, the switch works, and I can see the mechanism spinning. But a quick nudge forces the wheel up/down. There’s enough friction to hold it in place. What does the motor actually spin that results in the tilt? Because that seems to be a jack screw of sorts…that’s what I mean by nut, it looks like something holding that jack screw to adjust the tilt.
