Finally bolted the 215k large rear diff and filled with 75w140 lsd oil.
The half shafts were of course different, they were larger diameter. The flanges were also larger.
Good thing I saved 4.8 half shafts, cuz half shafts from 3.0l don't work.
Bolted up rear driveshaft from rear diff to transfer case.
Finished running wiring for the transfer case.
TC500, unlike NV125, has wires going to it. So had to drill a hole in the floor to run the wires from the transfer case to the transfer case module located under rear left bench.
The ignition switch is also different. 4.4, 4.6 and 4.8 seem to be the same part number, different from my 3.0.
Didn't think they would be different, but the connector from 4.8 wiring harness won't go into ignition switch from 3.0. Thankfully I saved the ignition switch from 4.8.
Now my plan is just to try and crank the engine with the key and see if it turns over.
