Okay what I actually ended up doing was order new lenses from China, the price difference between compared to used headlights was quite big, now we'll see how I'll be able to cut the old ones off without breaking the headlight housings. But in the end, if this won't work, I'll have to buy new headlights anyway. If it was for me, I wouldn't be replacing the lights just yet since I feel like I'm able to see the road just fine for now, but the car won't be passing the yearly inspection as it is now. Of course there could be some dazzling of other road users due to wear of the lenses.
