It's Christmas! An OEM hitch has arrived. Thanks to "Effduration" for taking time to package and send it. It's primed. I'll take a wire wheel and clean off rust and prime again. For a coating, I'm looking at Zero Rust. I used Zero Rust on my '83C10 frame and engine bay. I like the matte black look and finish. The X5 rear is on 6 ton jack stands. After new wheel bearings, the hitch should be ready for installation.
