Strange situation I resolved couple months ago. Squeak got louder and louder...thought for sure it was major! Got the courage to inspect.
Get this! Turns out that the dust shield is held on to the hub with
4 - 5
10mm screws.
One of the screws backed itself out and was making constant contact with the rotor...
I'll take it!
