One thing I was told is try to remove the oil fill cap while idling. If there’s strong vacuum holding it on then there’s a CCV issue. The cyclone unit might be slugged up internally.

Pretty sure mine needs replacement due to high crankcase vacuum and a whooshing noise when I shut it off. I have a new one (Febi) but it looks like such a PITA to replace that I’ve put off doing it.
