What's the length between the water pump pulley and radiator?
What's the stock 3.0i plastic fan size? What's the max fan size a 3.0i fan shroud will accept?
I bet we could find something to fit. I did a mod like this once. Bought a new Ford Explorer 3.0 V6 clutch and fan. Installed it on a 1996 GMC 4.3 V6 for extra cooling. The Explorer fan is plastic. It also has more fins. The GM fan was metal and heavy. Plus, the fan was moved closer to the engine. The fan was ideally placed in the shroud. The mod pulled extra air through the condenser and radiator.
