Another unofficial update.
With the new aux audio connection, I grabbed an appropriate 3.5mm extension cable to replace the temporary one I had before (which somehow bent itself to cable heaven without hurting the device port :rofl2: ).
I also grabbed a decent quality dual 3.0Amp charger for the 12-volt port, and some decent quality USB-A to USB-C cables.
I'm all set for some serious road trips now.
