I would definitely check both guibos (flex disks) if this problem happens again. In my experience with my 1993 325iS Manual Transmission they last about 200K miles and you cant tell when they are bad by looking at them when connected to the drive shaft. Attached is an image of one of my bad guibos and you can see they start coming apart from the inside. You will get a "clunk" feel in the drivetrain at low RPMs as they disintegrate.
