Your Basslink, which I find underwhelming anyway, uses a Class D amplifier inside.
Class D amplifiers are known to generate FM interference.
And in an X5, your FM receiver is sitting about 12 inches below your Basslink.
The only way to fix it is to lose the Basslink, I bet. Unplug the fuse for the BL (it has a fuse, right?
and the static should clear right up.
