This is what I have used for a long time. IMHO it works very well for washing you car and removing brake dust. One gallon of the WASH WAX has lasted almost 3 years. It is not a detergent like dawn but is PH balanced to lift off dirt without stripping of wax. 2 caps full in 3 gals of water is all I used to do the the entire job including the wheels.
