Having owned a few black cars, I can say that black is an extremely high maintenence color, instantly showing the smallest amount of dust, dents, or scratches. Black looks great when freshly washed, but in real life, impossible to keep clean. I have further noticed that gold appears to be among the best colors to mask dirt. My Pearl Biege (light gold) X5 with Axxis pads can go several weeks without a wash. But I still envy a shiny black car going down the road
