1. V27 has Perspective mode with "direction of travel" only. It does not support Perspective mode with "pointing north". I am not aware of anyone that has done a hack to give you the latter (which is why I'm still running a hacked version of V26 that has both).
2. When you go into Perspective mode you lose street names. Toggle back to normal mode and you will have them back.
