Excellent information is provided in this forum to replace this device in LH drive vehicles. I have just experienced considerable difficulty mirroring the required procedure to carry out the same task on a RH Drive model.

All information and photographs are correct in the post once you come to the realisation that there is no need to remove the glovebox everything is located on the steering wheel side therefore the lower panel component of the dash has to be removed with its associated panels supporting the floor lighting.

Degree of difficulty increases to remove the faulty component because of access being hindered by brake and accelerator pedals.
