I finally put the HRE's on now that spring has settled in here and the not too uncommon April snow storm hasn't materialized this year.
Out of curiosity I weighed the wheels coming off and the wheels going on.
- OEM Style 131 18x8.5 with 255/55 MXV4 Plus is 66 lbs (front and rear).
- HRE 640 20x9.5 with 275/40 Diamaris is 66 lbs (front).
- HRE 640 20x10.5 with 315/35 Diamaris is 70 lbs (rear).
Not too bad considering I went up 2" and much wider.
Forecast called for rain tomorrow so I didn't spend too much time cleaning the X5 or the wheels.
