Not true... off the top of my head, I know that the 275/20s that I've looked at require a 9-11" wheel, and the 315/20s require a 10.5 - 12.5" wheel... I'm sure it varies a bit from tire manufacturer to manufacturer, but I think this range is pretty consistent. (Here's the
