That's right, JV. Do NOT pay for those rooms. If 10 people do not reserve, then simply call the RC and tell them to forget about the group rate. We will just pay the normal rate -- which was only $30 dollars more, anyway... No biggie.
Give them a call, and ask them to charge us the normal rate, JV. You should not have to eat that cost...
