My thoughts from the weekend ...
Well, while I was very happy to see Barbaro win (what a beautiful horse), I have to admit I was hoping it would be Brother Derek. The stories of Dan Hendricks & Alex Solis, what they both have been through (& still going through) - deeply touched me.
(When I was a little girl, one of my dreams was to be a jockey ... LOVE LOVE LOVE horses ...
