Hello all,

I am a recent proud owner of a 2003 330XI with 20k miles on it I got the car with the factory nav & I am planning to update the software to V27 & update the maps DvD.

I have been reading posts here & doing research on how to update. Heres what I have when I read my software version on the display.

SW 4 - 1/12

This means I have version IV of the nav & the software is version 12 ? Now in order to get it to V27 do I need to upgrade to 13, 14 , 15..... & so on till I reach 27 or do I need to upgrade directly to V27 ?

IF anyone can break down the steps in small ordered points I will greatly appreciate, as the amount of info available is quite overwhelming !
