There is a big fabric cover that covers the entire cargo area, including the sides of the seatbacks. That would be best. I've seen pictures but it has been quite some time since I saw that post. That would work well because even if you get a Weathertech rubber cargo mat, which I would suggest, the sides and seatbacks are like Velcro with lab hair. I know this because I had SANguru's yellow lab in the back of my X5 and there was dog hair all over the the carpet. It's a son-of-a-beesting to clean up.
