theres plenty of lunatics out there... same thing happened to me a few times as im trying to pass someone they speed up to lock me in and then drop the speed, needless to say they end up driving at my pace once i pass them because i'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around... as for the initial story i think the guy might have been one of the looneys who wanted you to hit him to get insurance money, someone i know actually dated this guy who would intentionally hit cars or get hit to scam insurance companies.
