And, taken the early morning of yesterday, previous to the
earlier pics, my
best shot ever of the Canton Gap:
I've shot this scene hundreds of times in all kinds of light
and conditions...never have I captured the detail of the
topography, as is grabbed here,
looking through the Gap toward Mt.Pisgah in
the center and the Cold Mtn on the far right.
It's one of those deals that drive any photographer crazy
in that one cannot capture what one sees or knows, is
there.
This pic did it...for the casual viewer, it may not knock
your socks off, but for me it was a victory in finally grabbing
and capturing the photons as they are!
