Bottom line, if you use the quadlock connector to connect the icelink, you must manually move over some individual cables from the original connector to the new one. Correct, these are the same wires that carry over voice navigation and Bluetooth audio as well. Since we sell the trunk interface connections here in the states - we don't run into this problem.
I have the correct wires to move if anyone overseas should need assistance.
