anywayzzz...moving onnn..lets analyze this a little here .as for the original thread starter...DINANM3...sorry you had to encounter this situation, perhaps the cop was dissapointed about the way you handled him because you werent breaking the law....but you have to understnad...the cop had a badge on that said "police"...you did not have a badge on that said "owner"...when a cop pulls someone over...they dont know whether or not that person will run out on them with a gun or somethin...in this business you expect anything from people.
maybe the cops method on his first approach may have been out of line...i dunno you did'nt describe if he pulled you outta your car and held you up on gun point, but...a cop is defineately someone you want to be friends with.
you would certainly want them to report to your property if a set of houligans were doing what you were doing...i been through alot growing up..and i realized...if you cant beat'm..join'm...so i joined the auxillary police department...yes thats right ...imma rent-a-cop. and i have encountered my share of jerks...they could be how they want to be...as soon as i flash my badge we're best of friends...because they know im of no harm...and i do their job fror free, he was problably more afraid of you than you were of him. as for the tough guy attitude...unneccessary whoever had the attitude....totally agreed, but try doing their job...one goof up and the whole world hears about it, he thought he was doing his job...and he left...but it seems like you started it so far..sorry to say bro....if he wanted to, he could of hauled ur asses off your "private property" and be a REAL JERK....but he left, and when you leave your private property...you're "on his property" sort of speak....yes they serve the community, but what about the many that lost their lives in the line of duty, ...doesnt that give them some sort of benefit since they put their life on the line? we say theyre not above the law...or not suppose to be...but common...how many times have you got a cop to do pushups in front of you? realistically... alot of people made some good points, thats the benefit of a forum...you can analyze this from many point of views. a civilian, cops, cops families, and auxilliary officers (cops - but -not cops) i know one thing for sure...if you were friends with him, and he gave you a pba card or somethin....you would get a somewhat better treatment than the many who dont have a relationship with a cop....hope to see u at the tristate meet...we'll have a ball talking more about this.
"TAKE A BITE OUTTA CRIME!"
1) kids...no fighthing
2) cops -lets try to maintain our positive image, there are people watching us from around the world
3) civilians - stop getting pulled over, and you wont get pulled over.
4)lawyers - you guys must love the business, im sure your lawyer has a few friends that are cops...after all.."they are for the law" hence= lawyers
5) "Tyson?"...now i wonder how you got a name like that
