IMO if you get custom trays, and use maybe a 22% Zoom gel whitening product, you can achieve equal results to Britesmile for a lot less money. The upside to getting trays over Britesmile, is that whenever you need a recharge, you are good to go in about an hour, compared to Britesmile which is a one time deal.

Custom trays are the way to go. Senstivity happens if you leave the trays on overnight and that too will not last more than 12 hours.
