May 2006 X Series Sales Report
May sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series totaled 5,043 units, down 4.9% from the 5,304 sold last May. YTD sales of the X Series were also down 4.7% when compared to the first 5 months of 2005.
For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 6,339 trucks this month thanks to the addition of the R Class and GL Class that were not available last May. For the YTD sales of MB trucks are up 105.3% when compared to the same period of 2005. Of the 23,257 MB trucks sold thru May, 2006, 48.5% were the new R Class and GL Class.
