Yah, I've addressed this too... I actually used some GOOP sealant between the bottom of my license-plate frame and the actual license plate. The particular frame has only two mounting points on the top which made it rattle like crazy against the actual plate. The sealant it weather proof and should scrape off easily if I ever need to remove it from the license plate....
