An Alberta girl came in second getting stumped on the word
weltschmerz. I've always thought there was too much luck involved. If you are unlucky you get the word
weltschmerz. (pronounce with a v which is the way she spelled it)
They should give the same 100 words to all the contestants and whoever gets the most right wins.
A Calgary girl lost out on the word
gigerium.
I would have lost to all the contestants. I need a spell checker to write a cheque.
