i had mine professionally installed and I remember the 1st thing they did was wash with Dawn to get the grease and wax off. It was a 3 hr install and it was pre-cut, so it can take some time to do. Mine is warrantied for life too as I also had a small bubble after the 1st month. So far, so good.
