That was a very interesting read. He led a varied and apparently hard life, and was a very talented man. I remember his big solo hits when I was in junior high and high school, but lost track of him after that. I didn't know much of what was contained in that bio. A child prodigy who accompanied Mahalia Jackson at age 10, he met the Beatles while on a European tour, working for Little Richard. I learned something today. Too bad about the drugs and prison stint. That's unfortunate.
