The x5 does have a different lock setup? Shoot, I guess all BMWs had the same lock setup, the instruction I read for popping the lock were for a 3 series. How much is a new lock cylinder, and do I even need to get one if I purchase the keyhole delete? This is all very fustrating, because the car isn't in the best neighborhood, and the keys are visible within the trunk along with my golf clubs, tennis rackets, cell phone, wallet, etc.
thanks
