I have the Good Year Road Hazard protection on my Vette tires, they're just too expensive not to have it. Also, even if you don't use it due to a road hazard, the GY plan gives you a discount based on tread remaining if you replace them normally.

I think it's a good thing to have, it has paid for itself 3x over the years on various cars.
