Actually, I just received my renewal letter as well. and I've decided to renew, since as you stated, there's no telling what may go wrong!!! I've only had it for a year as well and haven't used it either, but to tell you the truth I wouldn't want to be caught without it if something did happen!!! Besides, instead of using the cell phone operator for information you can always use BMW Assist, especially since you're already paying for it. Think about it, you can even get weather updates!!! Just my 2 cents on the subject !!!
