I officially ordered our 2007 X5 last night. I gave our dealer a $500 deposit.
I am the first order that they have taken for the new X5. Since I have been waiting for this new model for so long it is exciting to be the first in line. My kids are excited to be going to Spartanburg with me.

The dealer seemed a little surprised that no other salespeople have written any other orders todate.

He said that he has seen some interest but those interested want to see the actual car and drive it first.

I sure hope that I like it because i will be paying for it at the dealer before ever seeing my car or any other 2007 X5 because mine will be the first to the dealer. He said it will definately have the 3rd seat. That is the #1 reason we are selling our 2002 X5 and getting the new one. The '02 is awesome even with 60,000 miles on it.

The salesman has no additional info on the E70.
