the palace resorts group has 3 other resorts on the strip that are still in remodeling and expected to open later this year. most have reopened without remodeling, just building what was there since their main goal was to get operational again. others have gone full bling out remodel...
all in all, i would say cancun is back in biz and most people wouldn't notice the difference
