OK, I wanted a sports car. I fell in love with the Z4 Coupe, but the CEO put a stop to that saying it's impractical. (ALSO, she loves and wants the SLK. If I got a two-seater sports car, she could not
HER two-seater sports car. We have to have at least ONE family car.) I test drove the SLK; nice car, but was not that impressed with it, and it is pricey.
The 330i is a "in the middle," because feeds my need for speed and performance, but allows the CEO to get her SLK in the future, should she want it. We have a vehicle that makes us both happy.
