If you are inserting then might as well turn the key to start. It actually takes more time then starting with the key, I call it "discomfort access", (sorry, PNG). In Acura and other cars you keep the keyfob in pocket at all times. The car will not start if the keyfob is not inside the car and the car will not lock if the keyfob is inside the car or trunk.
