I believe that my nav system is a DVD based nav based upon the DVD stamping on the changer itself; what else could be wrong short of a bad Sirius receiver? The jumper cabling and installation instructions were all pretty straightforward so I am doubting I messed that up. Any thoughts?

Thanks again for your help, I really really appreciate it.
Check the 2 amp fuse on the Sirius itself - just to make sure. Also, what is the production date on the X5? This can be found on the door sticker on the driver's side.
