I completely understand, I get negative comments about the stripes on my Le Mans Commemorative Z06 Corvette too, it's more the guys who buy a "base" vette and put the Z06 405HP badges and rear brake duct cooling screens on that seem cheesy... and the "rear wing" guys
... not to mention the BMW guys who put M badges on non-M cars.
