Ya know..seems like I shouldn't have to switch to Sirius. If I buy the new module, making the head unit satellite ready, there's no available adapter that would allow my XM receiver to work? Just like in my 2004 330Ci that was satellite ready. It was made for Sirius (and actually said that when I turned it on), but my Blitz SLD-01 adapter would "fool" the BMR and eventually "XM radio" would show up on the head unit.

If this isn't possible with the X5 nav system, I guess I'll have to accept it and switch to Sirius. I just hate to buy new satellite equipment....
