Well now I just replaced the Nav Unit to (an ebay special) MKIII and while my screen works (computer and Navigation menus) my stereo still just tunrs on with the button and I can cycle the stations switch to tape or CD but there is no sound at all through the speakers. Not sure if I needed to do anything special when I installed the MKIII unit. I had a standard MKII unit in my 2000 X5 originally. Is there any software upgrade or other installation things I need to do other than plug in the red, blue, and black connectors along with the small skinny wire?

Also, when I first installed this new MKIII unit the options for DSP and phone were available on the menu but now after about 30 minutes of being hooked up those two options are no longer on the menu?

Anybody know why?
