Thanks to jeff I'll update Version 17 up to version 22-1 or 23 on my MK3 nav system.
In european market MK4 is an optional fitting even on the latests E39 ( 2004 ) .
I've a friend with an 2003 X5 he has MK3 version 22 and has split screen...so I confirm it can "run" on MK3 too...
hope upgrade will work on my E39....
