Donegal TDI is on a distinguished road
I'm in the middle of doing just this, and it's a 3.0D as well.
I'm waiting for a few more parts to arrive before I get started with the install.
All the stuff I'm using is Blaupunkt, available from bluespot.co.uk.
The DVD player is a DVD-ME4
see.. http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/dvd_me4.asp
I'm installing headrest monitors, they are IVMS-6502 TFT Headrest colour monitor
see..http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/screen_4.asp
I'm also using an IVSC-3302 AV Signal controller
see..http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/ivsc_2.asp
This will distribute the video output to the 2 headrest monitors and also to the av-in on the nav display.
It also allows for 3 inputs, namely DVD, TV from harness for headrest monitors and a spare.
I already have the TV in motion harness installed.
Also fitted the break out video out/in harness.
The audio out will be wired from the IVSC-3302 AV Signal controller to the aux-in kit I'm awaiting from the dealer, so that the DVD audio will have access to the DSP, and be in stereo.
Anyway, give it a week or so and I should be able to put something together as regards instructions as regards power sources and such.
For power You need an earth , permanent live, and a switched live,
all easily obtainable at the rear of the vehicle (I hope).
I assume you live in a digital TV area,
I don't in the NW of Ireland.
How does the digital work out for you?
What's the quality like and can you get digital radio stations?
One other mod I'm after doing is fitting a Remus exhaust to my diesel.
Will post pictures later, great sound and engine seems to breath better.
Definitely feels a a little sharper.
