Hit "Tel" on your radio's keypad. "Dial Number" wil apear on the display with the telephone numbers in sequence below (1, 2, 3, 4...). On the right side you'll see options for * and #.

The way it works is you hit the up arrow and go to a second screen where you enter the *, then you hit up arrow again to return to the numbers keypad.
