I thought all X5 3.0i after 2004 got a 6-speed manual.....

I know gearing is quite tight on the X5........I've heard many magazines say the manual isn't as easy to use as in most BMWs due to a rather abrupt clutch engagment point. Plus a 5.13 1st gear ratio paired to a 4.10 final drive must be a pain to start off in!
