I got the idea from my neighbor who was telling me it would be the same thing, but a LOT easier. Any reason why it wouldf be a bad idea.

For the longest time I have never let the dealer do any maintenance work on my car. I have always taken it to an independant shop or done it with a friend (who own a lift). I prefer to make sure its done right. Even if it is JUST oil.
